Mon 2nd Sep 2013	Taught by Alex and Tessa Watch the video Remember the moves Tessa and Alex take us through the basics of 6 count American Spins and how to transform them into 8 count spins either with a leader’s elbow catch, or a cheeky 'hijack' from the followers. 6ct Send Out 6ct American Spin 8ct Spin (lead by either Leader or Follower) 6ct Bringback 6ct Jockey Kneeslap!	Taught by Bruce and Jane Watch the Video Remember the moves Jane and Bruce look at building the spin technique, and 'dropping the lead' to get the hand onto the follower’s shoulder without them struggling! We have a go at increasing/decreasing 'volume' in moves, then finish up with some flashy moves like the 'Turkish Towel' and a Texas Tommy variation with a 'Tabby The Cat' on the end.

We try and do away with hand leading, replacing it with body leads like forward rock stepping and opening out to prep moves, then look at the difference in lead between free spins, 'sliding doors' and travelling turns, then build it up into a cool move. With a dip on the end.

A series of moves on the theme of lateral frame usage, starting with six count face-to-face turns with a bit of direction, building into footwork variations omitting triple steps, and culminating in two slingshot variations with an inside and an outside turn.
